Chinese Language Program ( Spring 2023)

Introduction

The duration of study lasts for one semester or more. Classes begin in the beginning of March and September every year. Based on students’ Chinese proficiency, classes are arranged for beginner, elementary, intermediate and advanced. Chinese Courses include comprehensive Chinese, Chinese listening, Chinese speaking, Chinese reading, Chinese writing and Great Wall Chinese. Students may also select courses such as folk dance, China’s ethnic music instrument, Chinese calligraphy, painting, paper-cut, martial art,HSK intensive training courses and etc. Generally, Chinese courses are taught in 20 hours per week, 16 weeks per semester. The students who have completed the courses requirements can obtain their transcripts and certificates of completion at the end of the semester. Chinese language program cannot provide credits certificate.

Under the influence of global COVID-19 pandemic, only online courses will be provided in spring semester 2023. We can not assist the learners overseas to apply for study visa to China during their online learning period.

Eligibility

The applicant should be a non-Chinese citizen, above 18 years old in good health condition.   


Tuition and fees

Application fee:  RMB 400

Tuition:  RMB 8,800/semester   RMB 17,600/academic year     

Teaching material:  RMB 300/semester


Calendar of the spring semester of 2023(estimated)

Online Registration: February 13-15

Placement test:  February 16-17

Class Duration:  February 20, 2023-June 30
